VeraPont is an Australian technology firm developing a structured approach to establishing and preserving the identity of consequential digital deployments.
Its work is centred on a simple but important problem: systems change, but organisations may still need to determine what a particular deployment was at an earlier point in time.
Through the LatticeSnap™ methodology, VeraPont has developed the technical structure, evidence practices and verification architecture required to preserve that reference with clear boundaries, provenance and record integrity.
The firm’s role is deliberately defined. VeraPont does not certify the safety, correctness, performance or legal compliance of a deployment. It establishes and preserves a defined identity reference that can later be independently examined.
VeraPont is being built as a long-term institutional capability around methodology, evidence structure and independent verification for consequential digital systems.
FOUNDER
Built from a question about what survives.
VeraPont was founded by Peter Pupuo after years of work, examining how digital systems could retain a verifiable identity as software, infrastructure, dependencies and operational environments change.
The work began with questions of system integrity and deterministic verification, but developed into a broader problem:
If an important system is examined months or years later, how do we establish which deployment the surviving evidence actually relates to?
That question became the foundation for VeraPont and the development of Deployment Identity — a discipline concerned with preserving a defined historical reference rather than attempting to reconstruct one after the fact.
VeraPont is a firm built for a long-term capability centred on methodology, technical architecture, evidence discipline and independent verification.
